We design and build WordPress websites

We build websites that work toward our clients' business goals. Business sites, landing pages, news portals, corporate blogs, and WooCommerce online stores. Every project begins with an analysis of needs and goals, rather than selecting a template. We collaborate with the typograficznie.pl design studio for UX and digital typography, so the visual layer is driven by a deliberate communication strategy, not random aesthetics. Technical SEO, performance, and security are built in from day one. For websites built by WebOptimo, we offer a 50% discount on WordPress care for the first year.

Business websites Responsive WordPress business sites that load fast, look professional, and achieve specific goals — generating inquiries, building brand awareness, presenting services and portfolios, and collecting newsletter signups. Every site is built so you can edit the content yourself, without needing a developer for every text or image change.
Landing pages Conversion-optimized landing pages for Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns, product launches, lead generation, and seasonal promotions. We design landing pages with a clear information hierarchy, a single main call to action, and fast loading times, ensuring every ad click has a chance to turn into a contact or sale.
Online stores WooCommerce online stores integrated with payments (Przelewy24, PayU, Stripe, BLIK), logistics (InPost, DPD, DHL), and sales management tools. For a detailed description of e-commerce features, including HPOS architecture, conversion-optimized checkout, and BaseLinker integration, see our dedicated WooCommerce online stores page.
Portals and blogs News portals, corporate blogs, knowledge bases, and content websites. We build sites with extensive category and tag structures, author systems, pagination, search engines, and archives. For organizations with multiple sites, we deploy WordPress Multisite, which allows you to manage all sites from a single dashboard.
Custom solutions When off-the-shelf plugins aren't enough, we build custom WordPress solutions: bespoke plugins, CRM and ERP integrations, WooCommerce extensions, client portals, calculators, booking systems, and multi-step forms. We also work with the WordPress REST API and headless architecture when the frontend requires technology other than PHP.

What every WordPress website we build includes

A set of features we implement by default in every project. These are not paid add-ons, but an integral part of the website development process.

Responsiveness

Mobile-first design tailored to every screen

Over 70% of traffic to Polish websites comes from mobile devices. We design every site with a mobile-first approach: first the phone version, then tablet and desktop. Responsive layout, touch-friendly navigation, legible typography on small screens, and fast loading on LTE connections. The site works and looks great on every device, from a smartphone to a 4K monitor.

Technical SEO

Search engine optimization from day one

Technical SEO is not a service tacked on after launch. Every site we build features proper HTML structure and heading hierarchy, unique title and description meta tags for every page, schema.org structured data, an XML sitemap, a robots.txt file, correct canonical and hreflang setup, 301 redirects, and crawl control. The site is ready for Google indexing the moment it goes live.

Performance

Loading speed and Core Web Vitals

Our WordPress sites achieve high scores in Google PageSpeed Insights on launch day. We optimize images to WebP and AVIF formats, configure page and object cache, minify CSS and JavaScript, apply lazy loading, and deploy a CDN where appropriate. A fast site means not only better Google rankings but, more importantly, a lower bounce rate and more conversions.

UX and design

Interface designed for business goals

We collaborate with the typograficznie.pl studio for User Experience and digital typography. We design intuitive interfaces with a clear information hierarchy that guide the user to their goal: purchase, contact, form submission, or file download. Good design results from a well-thought-out content structure and legible typography, not random decoration. When choosing tools, we consider project needs and select between Elementor, the WordPress Block Editor, and WPBakery, as well as the capabilities of Full Site Editing.

Forms

Contact, inquiry, and multi-step forms

We implement contact forms, quote request forms, pricing calculators, surveys, and multi-step forms with real-time validation. We configure email notifications and integrations with CRMs (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce) and marketing automation tools (MailerLite, Mailchimp, GetResponse). Forms act as the primary conversion tool, not just a footer decoration.

Security

SSL certificate, hardening, and attack protection

Every website we launch comes with an SSL/TLS certificate, WordPress hardening (changing the database prefix, hiding the WP version, disabling file editing from the panel), login protection against brute force attacks, a WAF firewall, and malware scanning. Security is not a paid add-on, but a standard in every deployment.

Analytics

Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager, and conversion tracking

We configure Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking (GA4 goals, events, form tracking). For sites running ad campaigns, we implement the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and Google Ads Conversion Tracking. User behavior data is available from day one, allowing you to make decisions based on numbers, not guesses.

GDPR

Compliance with GDPR and Polish law

We configure a GDPR-compliant cookie banner, data processing consent checkboxes in forms, a privacy policy, and information clauses required by Polish law. For sites collecting personal data, we implement a data subject rights form (data access, deletion, portability). The site complies with regulations upon launch.

Multilingual support

Website in multiple language versions

For companies operating in international markets, we implement multilingual support (WPML or Polylang) with separate content versions for each language, proper hreflang setup, and localized meta tags. Every language version functions as a fully fledged site with its own SEO, rather than a machine translation of the original content.

Integrations

Connection to the tools you already use

We integrate the WordPress site with the tools your company uses daily: CRM systems (HubSpot, Pipedrive), email marketing platforms (MailerLite, Mailchimp, GetResponse), booking tools, live chat, ticketing systems, Google Maps, calendars, and social media. If a custom integration is needed, we build it as a custom solution based on the WordPress REST API or webhooks.

Accessibility

A site readable and usable for everyone

We apply WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility guidelines: semantic HTML, adequate color contrast, keyboard navigation, alt attributes for images, form labels, and visible focus for screen reader users. An accessible website is not only a legal requirement for public institutions but also a good practice that broadens your audience.

Copywriting

Content that supports SEO and conversion

We offer SEO content writing optimized for both search engines and people. Texts for business sites, service descriptions, corporate blog articles, landing page copy, and product descriptions. The content is written with target keywords, user intent, and brand tone of voice in mind. Well-written text is not a luxury, but an investment that pays off in higher rankings and more inquiries.

Why WebOptimo websites run faster and more reliably

A website is only as fast and reliable as the infrastructure it runs on. Many WordPress sites run perfectly well on shared hosting and achieve excellent results thanks to proper cache configuration, database optimization, and PHP tuning. When shared hosting is no longer enough, we help you migrate to a VPS server with full control over the environment.

Hosting

Fast WordPress hosting on SSD/NVMe servers

We advise on choosing WordPress hosting tailored to the project's scale. For business sites, managed shared hosting with NVMe drives and built-in cache works perfectly. For larger sites, we configure dedicated servers with the Apache + PHP-FPM + MariaDB + Redis stack, which we describe in detail in our publication on efficient server stack architecture. Apache with mod_rewrite natively supports .htaccess rules, which WordPress relies on, eliminating permalink and redirect issues. Redis as an object cache removes repetitive database queries and significantly speeds up the administration panel.

Databases

MariaDB or MySQL tuned for WordPress workloads

A WordPress site with an extensive content database generates heavy database load. Tuning the InnoDB buffer pool, configuring the slow query log, optimizing indexes, and regularly clearing revisions, transients, and sessions are standard parts of our deployment. For sites requiring advanced database infrastructure, we also work with PostgreSQL. Learn more about database administration on our MySQL and MariaDB administration page.

Servers

Linux and FreeBSD server administration

Our clients' sites run on servers we configure and maintain ourselves. Linux server administration (Debian, Ubuntu, Rocky Linux) and FreeBSD are our daily work. Firewall configuration, SSH securing, automatic security updates, resource monitoring, and automating repetitive tasks. We manage the entire infrastructure so the client can focus on running their business.

AI in the process

Modern AI tools in the development process

We utilize AI tools in the website development process: coding assistants (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) speed up programming and allow us to focus on architecture instead of writing repetitive code. AI also supports prototyping, performance testing, and generating structured data. Learn more about our approach to AI in development on our AI-Powered Workflow page.

How the WordPress website development process works

From the initial conversation to website launch. Five stages, specific deadlines, and a clear division of responsibilities at every step.

01

Analysis and specification

We discuss the website's goals, target audience, competitors, and required features. Based on this, we prepare a specification containing a list of pages, features, integrations, and a timeline. Our quote is precise because it results from specific requirements, not template packages.

02

UX and graphic design

In collaboration with the typograficznie.pl studio, we design the website interface: the home page and subpage layouts, typography, color palette, conversion element placement, and navigation. The design is presented for approval before coding begins. Changes at the design stage are fast and free of charge.

03

Development on a staging environment

We build the site on a staging environment, which is a replica of the future production environment. The client has access to the draft version at every stage and can provide feedback in real time. We implement features, configure technical SEO, integrations, and optimize performance.

04

Testing and optimization

We test the site on various devices and browsers, checking responsiveness, loading speed, and the correct functioning of forms, integrations, and structured data. We verify the results in Google PageSpeed Insights and SEO tools. All fixes are applied before moving to the production server.

05

Launch and training

We migrate the site to the production server, configure the domain, SSL certificate, and enable monitoring and backups. We submit the site for indexing in Google Search Console. We conduct training on how to use the WordPress dashboard so the client can manage the content themselves from day one.

WordPress as the foundation of your website

WordPress powers over 43% of all websites globally. This is no accident. Its open license, the largest ecosystem of plugins and themes, continuous development by thousands of programmers, and complete independence from any single vendor are the reasons we recommend WordPress as a platform for building websites. Selecting the right theme is crucial for your site's performance and flexibility. Check out our roundup of the best options in our Top 10 WordPress themes 2026.

Open source

No license fees and full control over the code

WordPress is open-source software. There are no monthly platform fees, transaction commissions, or traffic and page limits. Full control over the code, database, and files means the website owner is not dependent on a single provider. A WordPress site can be moved to any server without losing any data.

Ecosystem

Thousands of plugins and themes for every need

The WordPress.org repository contains over 60,000 free plugins and thousands of themes. Forms, SEO, caching, security, e-commerce, multilingual support, CRM, and mailing integrations. Most of the features a business site needs are readily available. And if something custom is required, we build tailor-made custom solutions.

Scalability

From a business card site to an extensive portal

WordPress grows with your business. A simple business site can later expand to include a blog, a WooCommerce online store, a client portal, a booking system, or multi-language versions. You don't need to change platforms to add new features. WordPress architecture and its hooks system allow you to expand the site without interfering with existing code.

Community

Global community and continuous platform development

WordPress is backed by one of the largest developer communities in the world. Regular core updates (every few weeks), thousands of tutorials, support forums, and WordCamp conferences. This means technical problems have ready solutions, security vulnerabilities are patched quickly, and WordPress itself is constantly evolving. The latest WordPress 7 brought significant improvements in editing, performance, and accessibility. By choosing WordPress, your company isn't stuck with a technology maintained by just one small team.

We build WordPress websites that are fast, secure, and search-engine optimized from day one. Design, development, copywriting, and subsequent technical care are a single, cohesive process for us. The client works with one partner responsible for everything, rather than three different providers shifting the blame onto each other.

WordPress website development. Questions and answers

Prices for WordPress websites start at 1899 PLN net for a simple business site. The final quote depends on the number of pages, required features, integrations, and the complexity of the graphic design. Following a discussion and analysis of requirements, we prepare a detailed offer with an exact timeline and scope of work.

A simple business site (up to 5-7 pages) usually takes 2-3 weeks after the graphic design is approved. A comprehensive site with a blog, forms, and integrations requires 3-5 weeks. A WooCommerce store with payments and logistics takes 4-8 weeks. We set the timeline before starting work and strictly adhere to it.
